The reason is, when you dial in with test only, you gonna know what blood numbers make you feel good, the ratio of test, e2, dht, all that shit. Then you have something to go for, when / if you wanna dial in with HCG. So after many weeks my dr was following my HCG levels. When I found out I was pregnant levels were at 8200. After 6 weeks Hcg finally was down to about 20 but I started bleeding. After 5 days it stopped and hcg was at 11. Not sure if that was my period or not because I didn't think you can get one until hcg reaches zero.What to do. a. Take hCG injections. (please see my article on finding the best dose of hCG for you) Most feel the least hunger on 125iu or 150iu- this will be 12.5 units or 15 units on the injection syringe if you mix hCG in 1:1 ratio) b. I had done hcg blood test on my own 2 weeks prior for extra confirmation on top of 2 positive at-home tests. I was at 10k then. My OB said I’m either more like 5-6 weeks, not 8 weeks or this isn’t a viable pregnancy. She had me do an hcg blood test that day. My test showed it increased to 14k ....
